Rangoli competition held

Reflecting their creativity and artistic skills , the students of Nankana sahib Public school, Gill Park participated in Rangoli competition here today. The students from class VI to XII participated in this colourful event with festive spirit.They tried their hands on the rangoli designs through different houses of the school including Sahibzada Ajit singh House, Sahibzada Fateh Singh House, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh House and Sahibzada Jorawar Singh House . Each team comprised of four students.

 Using the eco -friendly things like wheat flour, saw dust, flowers, pulses, grains and rice, the students not only reflected their aesthetic skills but also conveyed the message to celebrate clean and green Diwali. They made various types of designs i.e. floral, geometrical,  Lord Krishna, dancing woman, motorbike, football ,Kathkali dancer,  peacock etc. They came up with their best creations. To give the final touch to these patterns, they used mirrors, earthen lamps and candles.

The corridors of the school campus wore a festive look. The judges had tough time during the judgment. The school principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich appreciated the enthusiasm of the students. She wished everyone happy and safe Diwali.
