Red Day celebrated at NSPS

To make children learn the symbolism of “Red Colour”, the nursery block of Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park celebrated Red Day. Red Colour which depicts enthusiasm, life and vitality was celebrated with pomp and show. The tiny-tots came to school in red colour dresses.

 All the items displayed in their classrooms were of red colour. These included red cherries, red apples, rec teddy bear and so on. The young students enjoyed observing each and every thing of their beautifully decked up classrooms. Bulletin board was displayed with pictures of all Red things. An activity “Show and tell” was also organized. To conclude the day, the students sang Red Day Song ”Red Apples red apples hanging on the tree-----.” The school principal Mrs Harmeet Kaur Waraich and Mrs Jasmeen Kaur appreciated the efforts of the staff and parents of wards to make this event a success.
