EARTH DAY

Nankana Sahib Public School celebrated World Earth Day with great zest and zeal. To the mark the importance of the day various activities like tree plantation drive, slogan writing for classes (IX - X) and poster making competition for classes (VI - VIII) was held. The topics were very thought provoking like eco sanitation, pollution, global warming etc. Students displayed their creativity and concern by highlighting the need to save “Our Planet Earth”.

The school Principal Mrs. Harmeet Kaur Waraich suggested tips to make Earth Clean & Green and encouraged to judiciously use natural resources and conserve biodiversity.

BAISAKHI CELEBRATED WITH FERVOUR AT NSPS

Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, Gill Road, Ludhiana celebrated Baisakhi in the school campus. Tiny Tots of Primary Wing performed solo dance on Punjabi songs. Harsimran Kaur of 2nd, Parleen Kaur of 5th Class tapped on the beats of songs very beautifully. Sahibveer Singh and Ishwarpreet Singh Khalsa of 2nd Class presented heart-taking performance of Gatka. Everyone appreciated it. Speeches were given by teachers as well as students, on Baisakhi. Primary Head Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur Ubhi addressed the students by telling them that Baisakhi festival is both a cultural and religious festival which is celebrated in the vibrant state of Punjab joyfully. Such celebrations bring a cheerful wave in students daily routine.


STUDENTS OF NSPS BROUGHT LAURELS TO THE SCHOOL BY WINNING 24 DIFFERENT PRIZES IN THE SIKH MISSIONARY EXAM

Students of Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, Gill Road, Ludhiana brought laurels to the school by winning 24 prizes in the Sikh Missionary Exam held in November 2014. Harsimran Kaur and Kulwinder Singh of Class 6th and Komalpreet Kaur of Class 5th brought laurels to the school by securing positions in the Merit List. All the 75 students who participated in the Sikh Missionary Exam cleared it with good grades. Principal Mrs. Harmeet Kaur Waraich congratulated the students and encouraged the others to participate in these types of competitions as these competitions help the children to attach them to their roots.


Fresher’s Party at Nankana Sahib Public School, Gill Park, Gill Road, Ludhiana (24.04.2015)

To give a warm welcome to the tiny tots who have just stepped into Kindergarten of Nankana Sahib Public School, a Fresher’s Party was organized in the New Building of KG Section which marked the beginning of the new session. The students looked stunning in colourful dresses and danced on the latest songs. They played various other games with their teachers. It was a delight to watch tiny tots dancing on the tunes of popular numbers. The children walked the ramp with confidence and style. Freshers were awarded titles Master Fresher and Miss Fresher. Master Harmanjot of Class LKG (Red) and Miss Bismanjot Kaur of LKG (Red), Master Ranveer Singh of Nursery (Pink) and Miss Harsirat Kaur of Nursery (Blue) were declared Master & Miss Fresher. The zeal of the students was commendable. The party served not only to be a means of enjoyment but also paved the way for creating a strong bonding between the teacher and students. Principal Mrs. Harmeet Kaur Waraich and Headmistress Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur Ubhi welcomed the students and wished them good luck.
